Site Foreman - Cork

Inform3 are recruiting for a Developer Contractor on a large ICF Housing Development of 90 units.

They require a Site Foreman who will be reporting to the Contracts Manager and given the responsibility of coordinating the subcontractors on site and working tightly to the programme. The ideal candidate will be someone with a keen eye for finishes.

This particular project will have a duration of 3 years with further work in the area planned to last 4/5 years.

Job Title: Site Foreman

Job Location: North County Cork

Sector: Residential (ICF Houses)

Salary: €75,000 - €85,000 with vehicle, pension & performance-related bonus

The Role

• Health & Safety awareness
• Management from phase one through to handover
• Ensuring the programme is stuck to as best as possible
• Reporting to the Contracts Manager
• Working closely with the subcontractors on site
• Awareness of all regulations and legalities
• Providing clear leadership abilities and direction to the site team
• Attending site meetings with up-to-date reporting on all site-based activities
• Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines

Job Requirements

• Construction Management degree or anything of the same discipline preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Site Manager or Foreman role
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Good IT skills e.g., Microsoft products
• Experience with Groundworks & Finishing required
• Good problem-solving skills
• Leadership and Communication skills
• Housing experience required
