Site Foreman - Kildare

Inform3 are recruiting for a reputable main contractor with experience in many different industry sectors. Currently they are making a name for themselves in the Leinster market as they intend to expand.

This particular project will be located in Naas and is the fitout of an office (3 floors). Project includes demolition with an element of M&E involved. Project set to begin in July and run for 6 months.

Company have further work in the outer M50 Dublin area with projects valued up top €15-20m. Long-term work for the right candidate.

Job Title: Site Foreman / Finishing Foreman

Job Location: Naas, Kildare

Sector: Office fit-out

Salary: €70,000 - €80,000 (D.O.E.) & travel package

The Role

• Overseeing the demolition and fitout of a 3-storey office.
• Implementation of all health and safety policies.
• Co-ordination and managing of subcontractors while overseeing QC and safety measures on site.
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Attend regular site meetings with project team
• Direct and supervise direct staff and sub-Contractors.
• Plan the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of material
• Maintain a weekly work diary of progress.
• Ensuring procedures in place to maintain plant in good work order.
• Oversee site development to ensure it complies with all current standards.
• Safely compete project to budget within agreed timelines.

Job Requirements

• Construction related Degree or similar level qualification and minimum 5+ years site management experience.
• Strong understanding of the construction Industry in respect to fitout projects.
• Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
• The Ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated.
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
• Excellent IT and communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Have a keen eye for detail and finishes.
