Site Foreman - Cork

Inform3 are recruiting for a Cork based main contractor who are working on a one-off high-end house located in South County Cork.

They require a Site Foreman to take the project from its current internal plastering stage to handover in 6 months’ time. Retaining walls/external work also involved. The ideal candidate will be someone with a carpentry background and experience in external work.

Strong order book of residential projects in both Cork and Limerick long-term.

Job Title: Site Foreman

Job Location: South County Cork

Sector: Residential

Salary: €65,000 - €70,000 with vehicle & fuel

The Role

• Health & Safety awareness
• Management from internal/external phase through to handover
• Ensuring the programme is stuck to as best as possible
• Reporting toa visiting Project Manager
• Working closely with the General Operative and subcontractors on site
• Awareness of all regulations and legalities
• Providing clear leadership abilities and direction to the G.O.
• Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines

Job Requirements

• Construction Management degree or anything of the same discipline preferred
• At least 3 years’ experience in a Site Manager or Foreman role
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Carpentry background an advantage
• Good IT skills e.g., Microsoft products
• Experience with external works & finishing required
• Good problem-solving skills
• Leadership and Communication skills
• Housing experience required
