Site Foreman – Cork

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Foreman, for projects based in Cork. The client is a well-respected and highly knowledgeable civil engineering contractor with well over 25 years’ experience in the industry.

The client is seeking a Site Foreman that can ensure the project is effectively planned and delivered within the given timeframe. The Foreman will need to be experienced in working with Bridges, Roads, Rivers, Earthworks and RC works.

The Site Foreman will be able to work on a large project with over 2 years’ project duration.    

 

Site Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Project / Contracts Manager on a regular basis
  • Coordinate work plans for the Site Teams, ensuring site works are completed to the highest quality level
  • Regularly manage the plant and materials on site
  • Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork as required daily and properly including but not limited to: Time sheets, Pre-Task Planning Sheets, daily journal/diary, weekly safety report, receiving reports, change/time off, work order, etc.
  • Monitor the progress of your work against the planned production goals.
  • Deliver regular tool box talk briefings to the site team
  • Ensure daily and weekly plant checks are carried out and all records are up to date.
  • Monitor sub contract works and ensure subcontract works are being delivered
  • Ensure Health & Safety procedures are adhered too and company policies are followed

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • 5 + years’ experience as a foreman
  • Experience in managing site teams
  • Experience working with heavy machinery
  • Experience in roads, bridges and RC works
  • Full Driving License
