Civils Site Foreman

Job Location: Cork

INFORM3 are currently recruiting for a Site Foreman for a busy Contractor for the civils works for in Cork City.

As a Site Foreman you will play a key role in supervising and coordinating on-site activities for road and transport infrastructure works. You will support project delivery, maintain safety standards, and ensure work is completed on time, to quality requirements and within programme expectations.

 

Civils Site Foreman Role:

  • Supervise daily on-site labour, subcontractors and plant operations.
  • Coordinate and sequence construction activities to maintain efficient progress.
  • Ensure all works comply with approved designs, specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor site safety, enforce procedures, and lead toolbox talks / briefings.
  • Report progress, incidents and any workforce or supply issues to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, attendance logs and material receipts.
  • Liaise with engineers, surveyors and other site personnel to resolve technical queries.
  • Ensure equipment and materials are available when required to meet programme milestones.
  • Assist with inspections, snagging and handover preparations.

 

Civils Site Foreman Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar supervisory role in civil engineering / infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site enforcement.
  • Good organisational and team leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Valid Safe Pass and relevant certification (CSCS or equivalent) preferred.
