Job Title – Site Foreman

Job Location – Belfast

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 (company vehicle)

About the Company

Medium sized building contractor who focus primarily on commercial projects in education, retail and hospitality sectors. They have recently been awarded a project in Belfast for an apartment scheme and are now looking to enhance their management team on site.

The Role

• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification programme
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Managing health and safety delivery on site
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years General Foreman with joinery background
• Experience in apartment schemes
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
