Job Title – Site Foreman

Project – Mixed Residential

Job Location – South Dublin

Salary - €55,000 - €65,000

 

 

About the Company

Growing Residential developer with a lot of work on the ground in Dublin and south Dublin. They would handle projects up to €4M - €5M. Company has been operating around 15 – 20 years and Directors have a wealth of knowledge with combined 30 years’ experience.

 

 

The Role

  • To Help run the site day to day with other site management
  • Able to take the job out of the ground and see it to hand over
  • Reporting to Project Manager
  • Manage and coordinate both site staff and sub-contractors on site
  • Ensure completion dates are met
  • Will have good attention to detail and be able to work under pressure to achieve strict deadlines
  • Will be safety conscious
  • Take control of all works from house foundations through to 1st & 2nd fix including external finishes, paving, boundary walls and landscaping
  • Ensuring quality of works

 

 

Requirements

  • A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Qualification (e.g. Carpentry) is desirable
  • Background in residential projects
  • Proven record of seeing projects through from start to finish
  • Excellent working knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards
  • Homebond experience as well as updated safety courses
  • An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
  • To be good at working with people at all levels and willing to work in a team.
  • The ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks/project
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
