Site Manager – House Builder

Rightpath Construction Recruitment requires an experienced Site Manager with extensive housing experience preferably in the private sector.  This role is with a one of Ireland's leading private housing Contractors, who pride themselves on delivering the highest standard of private house building.  The position requires an astute Site Manager that is capable of working independently on the successful delivery of the scheme. The project is a 70-unit traditional build scheme phased over 3 years. Excellent salary, van / fuel and bonus.

Site Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ability to deliver projects on time and to perfection
  • To provide accurate, consistent and professional records, reports and general information
  • To manage and motivate site teams
  • Conduct risk assessment
  • To ensure that all processes are being adhered to on a project by project basis
  • Survey sites to mitigate problems and check viability of design
  • Ensuring end product meets customer expectation in relation to build and finish
  • Organise and coordinate labour
  • Instrumental role in the negotiation of contracts in conjunction with direct and sub-contract staff
  • Provide labour costing for various projects to determine feasibility and profitability
  • CRM function to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Produce reports on job progress and remedials or any other fault of amendment
  • Reporting to Construction and Financial Director as required

Site Manager Requirements:

  • Ability to work under one's own initiative
  • Self-motivated hard worked
  • Strong team building skills
  • Analytical and decision-making skills
  • Technical and practical knowledge of the building industry is important
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills
