Site Manager (Civils) Multiple sites

Are you an experienced civil site manager looking for a new opportunity with a growing contractor based in Co Louth. This role will give you the opportunity to assist the Director in making sure all the live sites are running within program while also allowing you to gain experience in contracts and commercial management. As the company grows so will you.

You will need to have experience of leading a team and supervising crews of workers to ensure that projects proceed smoothly. Ideally candidates will have worked their way up from a tools background to general foreman or come from a degree/engineering background and worked into a Senior Engineer or Agent position. This role will give such a person an opportunity to move into management.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing workforce
• Motivating the team to complete projects on schedule
• Issuing permits to dig
• Reviewing Risk assessments and method statements
• Running health and safety audits
• Ensuring that the site team complies with site rules and regulations while monitoring the quality of their work
• Collaborating with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project proceed as planned
• Maintaining equipment and manage paperwork

Requirements for this civils manager role

• Experience working on large civil schemes
• Minimum 10 years experience as a civil foreman or 8 years as an engineer/agent
• Experience with roads, concrete, Enabling works and groundworks
• First Aid
