Site Manager – Offaly

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Manager, for civils work on Housing projects in Offaly and Louth. The client has a depth of experience and is well respected with their clients due to their high standards of health & safety and quality.

The successful candidate will be required to manage multiple sites and manage civil teams ensuring that each project is on track to reach deadlines and within budget.

 

Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Report in the Contracts Manager & Directors
  • Manage each project as per the formulated plan
  • Ensure each project is safe for the site team to begin work
  • Communicate regularly with direct staff and sub-contractors, ensuring that each team has clear instructions  
  • Ensue each site is in line with the budget and timescale
  • Complete on a regular basis the site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Attend sub contractors’ meetings and site staff meetings
  • Conduct Toolbox Talks & Health & Safety Briefings
  • Liaise with Clients and the Public
  • Ensure Traffic is managed effectively to maintain little to no disruption to the public
  • Provide regular reports to the Contracts Manager & Directors

 

Site Manager Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Background
  • 5 years’ plus experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing civils site teams
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential
  • Confident in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communicator
  • Able to lead teams and multi-task
  • Full Driving License
