Site Manager – Dublin

INFORM3 are seeking a Site Manager for civil works on a residential project in Dublin. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with extensive experience and knowledge of the construction industry. The client has had continued growth due to their value of always taking complete ownership and control of every project. The successful candidate must be experienced in groundworks, earthworks, utilities, roads and landscaping.

 

Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Project Manager
  • Plan daily site activities in accordance with the Project Plan
  • Ensure the site is a safe place to conduct work
  • Supervise various site teams
  • Complete the daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Assist in emergency situations as directed by site management.
  • Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Complete checks on all Plant, Machinery and Equipment ensuring they are fit for use
  • Attend and chair Site Meetings, discussing site progress
  • Complete site inductions
  • Liaise with Consultancies / Clients / Public when appropriate
  • Attend Site Management meetings

 

Site Manager Specification:

  • Civil Engineering or Construction Management Background
  • 5 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing civils site teams
  • Highly organised
  • Strong communicator
  • Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential
  • Able to use Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
