Site Manager – Northern Ireland

INFORM3 are seeking a Site Manager or experienced Site Engineer to work on a number of utilities, marine, public realm and car park projects across Northern Ireland. The client is an established Civils Contractor with several live projects. They currently have a position available for a Site Manager or experienced Site Engineer to join their interesting and fast-paced projects.

The successful candidate must have a strong civils background and flexible with travel.

Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Report into the Project Manager
• Review the Project Programme
• Coordinate site teams in accordance with the project plan, paying particular attention to deadlines and specific requirements
• Complete the site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour etc
• Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
• Order in materials
• Review and record Site Progress
• Conduct site inspections, ensuring the site is aligned with health & safety regulations
• Review site performance ensuring all staff are aligned to the company’s quality policies
• Organise Site Meetings, discussing any pressing issues
• Conduct Site Inductions and Toolbox talks
• Manage traffic on site
• Attend Management meetings providing regular updates
• Responsible for supervising and co-ordinating teams of direct labour and specialist sub-contractors and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines the contract

Site Manager Specification:

• Construction Management background or Civil Engineer Degree
• 4years or more relevant experience
• General civils experience
• Experience in groundworks, drainage, earthworks and muck shifting etc
• Able to communicate successfully
• Capable of working towards several targets whilst remaining highly organised
• Full Driving License
