Site Manager - Cork

Inform3 are recruiting a Site Manager for an extremely reputable tier 1 company that has worked on a variety of prestigious projects in the commercial, technology and industrial sectors and collaborated on projects with other contractors worth up to €700m. Award winning with an emphasis on quality and a turnover of €290m, typically working on projects worth €20m-€50m. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a prestigious main contractor and work with like-minded people on award-winning multi-million-euro projects. The project is for the Education Sector and has just commenced last month with a valued of €5m. It is one of many projects in the Cork region for the next few years.

Job Location: North, Cork

Sector: Education

Salary: €65k - €75k

The Role

• Health & Safety awareness and compliance
• Management of structures through to finishing trades and subcontractors
• Liaising with Quantity Surveyors, H&S agents and engineers
• Scheduling weekly work programmes
• Awareness of all regulations and legalities
• Providing clear leadership abilities and direction to the site team
• Attending weekly site meetings with up-to-date reporting on all site-based activities
• Ensure all records – management activities adhere to Institutional policies and legal requirements
• Policy adherence
• Project administration
• Effectively prioritise areas of work and meet strict deadlines
• Aware of corporate objectives

Job Requirements

• Background in Engineering, Construction Management or anything of the same discipline
• At least 5 years’ experience in the role
• Good IT skills e.g., able to use Microsoft products
• Good problem-solving skills
• Leadership and Communication skills
• Ideally Tier 1 experience
• Construction related degree
• Experience with projects worth 5million+.
