Salary – €55k - €65k

About the Company

A fantastic opportunity to work for an extremely busy Tier 1 contractor in Cork. The project requires an experienced site manager to work on an industrial warehouse extension. Mechanical Engineering experience is desirable. This is a great opportunity for work in the South of Ireland.

The Role

• Oversee projects and manage personnel on site including, direct staff and subcontractors to ensure that productivity levels are high
• Ensure that company policies and Health & Safety policies are adhered to on site
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works meet requirements, are on time and in budget
• Ensure that work complies with building regulations as well as other legal requirements
• Coordinate and supervise the construction process across a residential project
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour and the procurement of materials in order to meet deadlines
• Manage quality of all work being carried out on site
• Report into Project Manager

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar
• At least 4 years’ experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor
• Ability to manage site programme and associated schedules to meet required deadlines.
• Mechanical engineering experience is desirable
• Must have experience in managing commercial projects
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
