Salary – €60k - €70k + vehicle

About the Company

A busy contractor in the Dublin area is looking for a Site Manager to work in Dublin on a Housing project. Experience of working on housing projects for a main contractor is essential. Fantastic opportunity to work in Dublin with the potential for continued work with the contractor.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of a residential development.
• Oversee projects and manage personnel on site including, direct staff and subcontractors to ensure that productivity levels are high
• Ensure that company policies and Health & Safety policies are adhered to on site
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works meet requirements, are on time and in budget
• Ensure that work complies with building regulations as well as other legal requirements
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour and the procurement of materials in order to meet deadlines
• Report into Project Manager

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar
• At least 5 years’ experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Must have experience in managing residential projects
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
