Job Title – Site Manager

Project – Residential

Job Location – Portlaoise

Salary – €60k - €65k

About the Company

Great opportunity for Site Manager with residential experience to work for a busy contractor in Portlaoise. The project is nearing the final stages of construction and the contractor will have 2 further projects live in Laois following this. The successful candidate will have the site team and subcontractors report into them.

The Role

• Oversee projects and manage personnel on site including, direct staff and subcontractors to ensure that productivity levels are high
• Ensure that company policies and Health & Safety policies are adhered to on site
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works meet requirements, are on time and in budget
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour and the procurement of materials in order to meet deadlines
• Liaise with the client and design team on a daily basis and during project life cycle
• Report to Contracts Manager

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Site Manager for a main contractor
• Ability to manage site programme and associated schedules to meet required deadlines.
• Must have experience in managing residential projects from the ground up.
