**About the Company:** Our client, a prominent Tier 1 Main Contractor in the field of Commercial projects, is actively seeking to grow their team in Ireland to accommodate their expanding project portfolio. Several openings for Setting out Engineers are available for various projects in Ireland. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to unique commercial developments, particularly those situated in Dub.
**The Role:** In this role, you'll be responsible for setting out and verifying project works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and building regulations. Collaboration with on-site sub-contractors and personnel is essential for effective project planning and execution. Reading and interpreting complex drawings is a key task, as is supporting the Site Manager and Senior Engineer to ensure project milestones are met on time and to the highest standards. Building and maintaining positive relationships with the construction management team, subcontractors, and site personnel will also be vital.
**Requirements:** To be considered, you should hold a degree in Engineering or Construction Management and possess at least 2 years of post-graduate experience with a main contractor in the UK or ROI. Ideally, you'll have exposure to working on Concrete Structures. Proficiency in the use of setting out instruments is a must, along with competence in set out, survey, level, and temporary works co-ordination. A strong command of computer applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint is expected.
