Site Manager – Northern Ireland

INFORM3 are recruiting for a Site Manager to work on a large civil project in NI. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry. The client has had continued growth through their value of always taking complete ownership and control of every project.

The Site Manager will need experience in managing a variety of projects involving roads, utilities, groundworks, earthworks etc.


Site Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Project Manager
  • Run the site as per the Project Management Plan
  • Ensure the site is a safe place to work, that complies with current legislation.
  • Coordinate the various site teams, discussing weekly objectives
  • Provide information for completion of daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Assist in emergency situations
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations at all times
  • Attend and Chair Site Meetings.
  • Liaise with the Senior Management team passing on relevant information on a regular basis.
  • Coordinate Plant, Machinery and Equipment
  • Conduct weekly Plant and Machinery checks
  • Order in materials when needed


Site Manager Specification:

  • Construction Management background
  • 5 years’ plus experience in a similar role
  • Experience in managing civils site teams
  • Strong Communicator and highly organised
  • Experience in heavy plant and machinery
  • Full Driving License
