Site Manager - Antrim

Job Title – Site Manager  

Project – Commercial/Retail Project

Job Location – Co. Antrim

Salary - £45K - £50K + package  

About the Company:

A fantastic opportunity to work with a very busy, and well-established Main Contractor for a project starting at the beginning of February.

This Contractor has a reputation for delivering high standard commercial, residential and industrial projects across Northern Ireland.

This project is valued around £5m mark and is to run for 9 months and requires a strong Site Manager with excellent technical abilities and a keen eye for detail. 

The Role:

• Oversee commercial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
• Host weekly meetings to update senior management and clients on project progress.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials and meeting deadlines.
• Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction Management or similar (Third level qualification) is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Commercial/Retail projects
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
• Ability to use a range of construction software applications to keep files, drawings and programmes up to date.
• Ability to quickly and effectively overcome any issues that may arise throughout the delivery of the project with minimum impact to programme, schedule or budget.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Clean Drivers License.
