Job Title – Site Manager

Job Location – Ulster Region

Project – Commercial & Residential Projects

Salary – £40k - £50K plus package  

 

About the Company:

Our client at INFORM3 Recruitment who have worked in social housing sector for over 30 years, providing services to the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and Housing Associations are currently on the lookout for an experienced Site Manager to join their team.

They are widely recognised for Building Refurbishment, Design and Build, Maintenance as well as New Build Construction and much more with numerous projects on the ground across the Ulster region.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Project/Contracts Manager and Senior Management team.
  • Manage the site as per the project programme.
  • Coordinate with the on-site construction team on a regular basis, ensuring all daily and weekly tasks are complete.
  • Continually communicate with the site team discovering any issues and how best to resolve them.
  • Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure it is at a high standard.
  • Coordinate equipment and machinery on site.
  • Ensure development is made and recorded in the site diary.
  • Monitor and control the quality of production.
  • Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to.
  • Record any accidents and report these to the relevant parties immediately.
  • Attend and coordinate Site Meetings.

Criteria Required:

  • Degree in Construction Management or equivalent is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience Managing projects from start to finish.
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and projects at a time.
  • Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint with Excellent IT skills and good digital and visual presentational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Clean Driver’s License.
