Site Manager - Dublin

Inform3 are recruiting for a busy tier 2 main contractor who are active on multiple projects primarily in the South-East.

This particular project is based in South Dublin and involves the construction of two school buildings. The project is valued at €16m and is forecasted for completion by March 2025.

Job Title: Site Manager

Salary: €75,000 - €85,000 (D.O.E.) & travel package

The Role

• Overseeing the construction of two school buildings from groundworks phase
• Implementation of all health and safety policies.
• Co-ordination and managing of subcontractors while overseeing QC and safety measures on site.
• Checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
• Attend regular site meetings with project team
• Direct and supervise direct staff and sub-Contractors.
• Plan the daily resourcing and control of site labour and ordering of material
• Maintain a weekly work diary of progress.
• Ensuring procedures in place to maintain plant in good work order.
• Oversee site development to ensure it complies with all current standards.
• Safely compete project to budget within agreed timelines.

Job Requirements

• Construction related Degree or similar level qualification and minimum 5+ years site management experience.
• Strong understanding of the construction Industry in respect to Education projects.
• Knowledge of latest building regulation and certification standards.
• The Ability to lead, use initiative and be self-motivated.
• Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
• Excellent IT and communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Have a keen eye for detail and finishes.
