Job Title – Site Manager

Job Location – Multiple Projects between Belfast and Dublin

Project – Commercial Projects

Salary – £40k - £50K plus vehicle & fuel

 

About the Company:

Our client is a leading Building, Civil Engineering and Fit-Out Contractor which has been delivering excellence for over 50+ years.

They have an immediate requirement for a Site Manager to join their team who will be responsible for consistently delivering a high standard of work in accordance with specification and quality standards and health and safety procedures, and delivering excellence and value in time, cost and quality.

The role will involve working between multiple commercial projects ranging from the Belfast to Dublin region. You will also be provided with vehicle, fuel card, laptop and phone.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination and supervision of various projects as required by the business.
  • Oversee projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors over multiple sites.
  • Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
  • Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials and meeting deadlines.
  • Ensure H&S and Company Policies are adhered to.
  • Regularly meet with Clients and other stakeholders to update them on the progress of the projects.
  • Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations.

 

Criteria Required:

  • Degree or equivalent in Construction & Engineering Management.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a Construction Supervisory role.
  • A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of Site Health & Safety.
  • Setting out & Ground works experience.
  • Excellent time management, problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Good IT and computer literacy skills.
  • The ability to create and maintain good relations with clients, design teams, neighbours and other stakeholders.
  • A full driving licence.
