Job Title – Site Manager (Residential)

Job Location – Kilkenny

Project – 43 Unit ICF Residential Development

Salary – €75K - €85K plus Vehicle, Fuel & Package

About the Company:

Our client is one of Ireland's leading residential developers with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality housing developments nationwide. They are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a new 43-unit ICF (Insulated Concrete Formwork) residential development in Kilkenny.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established developer on a long-term project, with further developments already in the pipeline offering excellent career progression for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Coordinate and supervise the construction of a new residential development from commencement through to handover.
  • Act as the No.1 Site Manager and main point of contact for subcontractors, clients and the design team.
  • Report to the Contracts Manager and Construction Director.
  • Manage direct labour, subcontractors and daily site operations.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, materials, plant and daily site activities.
  • Attend site meetings and liaise with local authorities and consultants where required.
  • Assist with material take-offs and site logistics.
  • Ensure all Health & Safety and company procedures are fully implemented and maintained.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Construction Management or relevant Trade Qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Site Manager with a Main Contractor or Developer.
  • Proven experience delivering residential developments from groundworks through to handover.
  • Experience working on ICF residential projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to manage programmes, subcontractors and site teams.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and other construction software.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Full clean driving licence.
