Salary – €75,000 - €85,000 + Vehicle + Bonus

Salary negotiable depending on experience

About the Company

Our client is an increasingly busy Main Contractor specialising in high-value new-build projects, with a strong focus on residential construction. With multiple projects secured in the Drogheda and surrounding areas, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with a strong pipeline of work.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Manager or Senior Site Manager with a proven track record of managing high-volume residential developments from greenfield stage through to completion and handover.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple subcontractors and delivering high-quality residential projects within tight programmes.

The Role

• Coordinate, monitor and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
• Update and manage the project programme alongside senior management to ensure key milestones are achieved.
• Liaise with the Design Team to ensure works are delivered in line with programme and specifications.
• Report directly to the Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
• Manage site personnel, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Coordinate weekly progress meetings, workshops and action plans.
• Identify and resolve issues arising during the construction phase in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensure all Health & Safety and company compliance procedures are fully adhered to.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Coordinate with Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Site Engineers and Service Coordinators to ensure all teams have accurate and timely information.

Requirements

• Degree in Construction Management or a relevant third-level qualification is essential.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing residential projects with a Main Contractor or specialist contractor in Ireland.
• Proven experience overseeing the complete delivery of new-build residential developments, ideally apartments.
• Strong track record working on high-volume residential developments.
• Ability to effectively manage site programmes and associated schedules to meet key deadlines.
• Experience managing and coordinating multiple subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project and PowerPoint, with excellent IT and presentation skills.
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
