Job Title – Site Manager

Job Location – Antrim

Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 with company vehicle

About the Company

Main building contractor working in all sectors of the construction industry such as residential, healthcare & commercial. They are a family-owned business and have been going over 50 years. They are looking for a Site Manager for an Apartment Scheme in the North West.

The Role

• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification programme
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Managing health and safety delivery on site
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years General Foreman / Site Management experience, preferably within large sites
• Experience in commercial & residential
• Carpentry / joinery background
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
