Job Title – Site Manager – Reporting to PM

Project – Commercial

Job Location – Belfast

Salary – £40k - £45k

About the Company

Very successful building contractor looking for experienced Site Manager in Belfast for a large commercial build valued around £15M

The Role

• Reporting into Project manager, then progressing into PM role eventually
• Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specification programme
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out safely to the highest of standards
• Managing health and safety delivery on site
• Attending weekly management team meeting 
• Maintaining the site diary – recording manpower levels for each sub-contractor and keeping detailed notes of all site activities
• Assisting with the control of plant and equipment on site
• Co-ordinating and managing of subcontractors
• Ensuring work is carried out to the highest of standards
• Dealing with all health and safety issues on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years engineering / site management experience, preferably within large sites
• Experience in commercial & residential
• Extensive experience in effective management of sub-contractors
• Ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills
• PC Skills to complete timesheets, requisitions etc
