Project – Large-Scale Residential Development (SHD Project)

Job Location – Citywest, Dublin

Salary – €75,000 - €85,000 + Package

About the Company

Our client is a highly reputable Developer with a strong track record of delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across Ireland.

Due to continued growth and a substantial pipeline of projects nationwide, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a major Strategic Housing Development (SHD) in Citywest, Dublin.

The Role

  • Take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations.
  • Coordinate and supervise all site activities to ensure works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage subcontractors, direct labour, and site personnel effectively.
  • Monitor project progress and update senior management on programme milestones.
  • Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Plan and coordinate labour, plant, and material requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company procedures.
  • Oversee quality control throughout all stages of construction.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders including subcontractors, engineers, architects, and the wider project team.
  • Ensure project documentation and site records are maintained accurately.
  • Assist in delivering the project to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.

Requirements

  • Degree or Trade Qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a Site Manager role with a Main Contractor or Developer.
  • Proven experience delivering residential developments from groundworks through to handover.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Good knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations and BCAR requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and work packages simultaneously.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
