Site Manager - Commercial - North England

Inform3 Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a very established Irish construction company operating for more than 20 years and working on projects up to £20M throughout Ireland and the UK.

They focus on large commercial new builds in sectors such as industrial, healthcare and government work – They are looking for a Site Manager to run the day-to-day operations on site.

The Role

• Reporting to Project Manager.
• Responsible for day to day running of the site with management talks between project manager and the senior foreman
• Coordination and supervision of all site staff and sub-contractors
• Carry out weekly site meetings
• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with the latest drawing, specifications and programme
• Ensure Projects are kept to projected and budgeted costings
• Ensure all safety systems are in place and abided by to ensure accident prevention
• Responsible for liaising with the client and design team on a daily basis and during project life cycle

Job Requirements 

• Main Contractor Experience is desirable
• Background in engineering preferable
• Experience with Projects above €5M    
• 5+ Yrs Experience Site Management
• Must have degree or equivalent
• Computer literate
• Full understanding of design drawings
• Clean driving licence
• IOSH Managing Safety in Construction, Occupational First Aid, and any other CSCS or CPD
