INFORM3 have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Site Manager to be part of a Commercial Fit-Out project involving the refurbishment and delivery of multiple retail units, completed within a fast-paced programme while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and compliance.

Site Manager Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction projects from site mobilisation through to completion.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise all site activities to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
  • Lead subcontractors and site personnel, ensuring work is completed to programme and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and the project team to resolve technical and operational issues.
  • Conduct quality inspections, manage snagging, and oversee project handover.
  • Manage site logistics, labour allocation, plant, materials, and deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate site records, reports, permits, and health and safety documentation.
  • Support cost control by monitoring site expenditure and reporting variations.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Site Manager Person Specification

  • Proven experience managing commercial construction or fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site management.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and deliver projects to programme.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Relevant construction management qualification and current health and safety certification.
