Job Title – Site Manager

Project – New Build Residential Development

Job Location – South Dublin – Dun Laoghaire

Salary – €60K - €70K + travel

 

About the Company

Working with a reputable local contractor on an exciting new housing development coming to South Dublin in August.

This is a one-of-a-kind, high end, residential development that should run for 18 – 24months with particular emphasis on the luxury finishing and fit out details during the later stages

The development will consist of ICF System so ideally applicants will have experience with this, however this is not essential and support can be provided.

 

The Role

  • Coordination and supervision of the construction of a residential development valued over €3M.
  • Report to and Support the Managing Director and Contracts Manager.
  • Oversee residential projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff, trades and subcontractors over multiple sites.
  • Host meetings with Clients, Architects, Design Team, site crew and Senior Management to update them on the progress of the projects.
  • Lead weekly toolbox talk and whiteboard meetings.
  • Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works and that they are done on time and in budget.
  • Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, ordering of materials and meeting deadlines.
  • Perform company compliance, H&S and administration procedure and record performance and progress of site operations in the site diary.

 

Requirements

  • Construction Management or Trades Background. Preference given to those with carpentry background.
  • Experience with ICF Systems in a residential setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A minimum of 5 years proven experience as a Site Manager or Foreman on projects valued over €2/3M
  • Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
  • Strong I.T skills are essential. (Microsoft Suite including Project)
