Site Supervisor – Northern Ireland

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Site Supervisor, for management of civil teams with various projects in Belfast and Down. The successful candidate will work on behalf of a client with over 20 years’ specialist experience in the construction industry. The client treats every project with the greatest respect and places all focus to finish the work to perfection and as a result of this has won numerous awards.

The client requires the successful candidate to have previous experience in managing civil teams, working on projects involving roads, drainage, water, sewage etc.

 

Site Supervisor Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Site Management Team
  • Be familiar with the Project Plan ensuring site works are in line with the job specification
  • Manage direct and sub-contractor staff through clear communication
  • Ensure the project is in line with Health & Safety regulations and safe to complete work
  • Ensure all staff comply with Health & Regulations
  • Motivate staff, ensuring that project deadlines and targets are met
  • Complete the daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Assist in any emergency situations on site
  • Coordinate Site Meetings discussing any pressing issues
  • Attend Meetings with Site Management, Sub-Contractors and Clients when appropriate
  • Ensure all site staff have received full inductions
  • Coordinate Toolbox talks
  • Coordinate Traffic on and of Site
  • Coordinate resources such as Plant, Machinery and Equipment ensuring they are fit for purpose

 

Site Supervisor Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Civil Engineering Degree or Background
  • 4 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Experience in civils projects and managing civil teams
  • Excellent communication
  • Confident in working on civil projects such as roads, drainage, utilities etc
  • Able to use Microsoft Office
  • Full Driving License
