A great opportunity has arisen with an Engineering Company based in County Cork, they are currently seeking to recruit experienced and skilled Metal Fabricators for a permanent position.

They require an individual who has knowledge of the Engineering and Fabrication industry, with the ability to assist in the production and manufacturing of metal products, which will involve light welding and steel work.

Responsibility of the Role:

• The role comes with the responsibility of continuing to deliver an outstanding level of service to all company clients.
• Manufacturing of metal products.
• Ensure all health and safety is adhered to at all times during the job.
• Fabrication of all metal products and components as required, ensuring that the highest standards in finish and tolerance in accordance with information supplied are achieved.
• Add any required details to fabrications using either hand or power tools.
• Follow day to day production plans in order to meet deadlines.
• Clearly communicate with department supervisors all relevant information including job briefs, job progress and any problems or issues related to the job or work.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills for the Role:

• 5-10 years’ experience as a Metal Fabricator.
• Recognisable qualifications to the role.
• Ability to delivering projects on time and on budget.
• Motivate, enthusiastic and takes pride in work.
• Have a ‘Can Do’ attitude.
• Have good communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Ability to work to own initiative.
