About the Company
Main Building Contractor is looking for a Sr Engineers to oversee the setting out and quality control relating to residential / social housing. This contractor has invested huge infrastructure in Ireland to accommodate their workload for the large projects they have. This role is urgent and the successful candidate will receive immediate interviews.
The Role
- Reviewing all setting out and levelling the site
- Comply with safety regulations on all equipment
- Candidates must possess ability to work on own initiative
- Accurate record keeping and ability to interpret drawings and specifications essential
- Give valuable feedback of selection of site personnel, subcontractors etc
- Attend meetings with clients, subcontractors and consultants and ensure all requirements are actioned
- Encourage safety on site and comply with company procedures and ensure the work is to a good standard without snags
- Liaise with management on site
Job Requirements
- Site management on Projects over €10M
- Experience with Housing schemes is desirable
- 5+ Yrs Experience site engineering and project management experience desirable
- Third level qualification in Engineering or related discipline.
- Knowledge of construction techniques - competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
- Computer literate and familiar with MS office, project, (or similar scheduling package)
- Should be proficient in AutoCAD
- Setting out and use of robotic total station, EDM’s, laser levels etc
