Store Manager                                                 County Down                                                    £18-24K

Due to continued expansion a successful Building Supplier are currently looking to recruit a Store Manager to assist the ever-increasing demand of services. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of building supplies and be a hard-working individual with the willingness to learn.

Responsibility of the Role:

  • Planning availability of parts and services in time with company clients.
  • Sourcing and re-sourcing parts and materials used in the internal processes, consumables and specific parts for individual builds ensuring timely delivery.
  • Coordination and financial planning, ensuring adequate notice is given to ensure funds are available for any purchases when required.
  • Ensuring incoming materials and components are received and logged including allocation of invoices.
  • Ensure incoming goods are stored correctly and securely
  • Establish stock levels.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience working in retail or building supplies for at least 1 year.
  • Good knowledge of Building Supplies would be an advantage.
  • Hard working with the willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude.
