Structural Design Engineer

Our client a leading multidisciplinary practice currently requires a Structural Design Engineer to join their busy team.  Established for over 30 years they are recognised for their commitment to quality and innovation.  They specialise in  a diverse range of Civil and Structural projects on a mix of medium/large-scale projects across Ireland and the UK.

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for working on your own initiative, for the design and management of a range of projects, working closely with a multidisciplinary team.
• Design of buildings, structures in steelwork and reinforced concrete, structural analysis and management of drawing production
• Use of structural engineering design software
• Communication with stakeholders, both internal teams and clients on a regular basis
• Support for construction activities, including Contractors, carrying out site inspections

Criteria

• A degree in Structural Engineering and ideally Chartered Engineer status or working towards this.
• Minimum 3 years post graduate structural design experience
