Project Manager Co. Mayo
Our client is currently recruiting for a Structural Steel Project Manager to work within their Mechanical Engineering company based in Co. Mayo. This is a great opportunity to get involved in multiple medium sized bespoke projects within a fast growing and expanding company.
Roles & Responsibilities Include:
- Produce hand calculations and apply logical engineering judgement.
- Ensure the correct project documentation is filed.
- Manage all teams involved with the project.
- Maintain maximum cost effectiveness by planning, maintaining and controlling the financial administration of all construction work.
- Report to the general manager and admin to ensure they are kept UpToDate.
- Perform Risk management procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of final project accounts.
- Preparations of valuations for payment with full documentation in an efficient and timely manner.
Skills/Qualifications Required:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Structural Engineering.
- Working Knowledge or experience in technical elements of structural steel fabrication and erection.
- Previous Contracts Management experience.
- AutoCAD skills and general familiarity with 3D modelling.
- Experience in a wide variety of contracts, within residential and Industrial sector.
- Ability to read and understand technical specifications and drawings.
- Great communication skills.
