Technical Detailer - Northern Ireland

Our client is a leading manufacturer of steel frames and have a name synonymous with quality.  Due to a peak in workload, they require a Technical Detailer to join their busy team.  This role offers an excellent career opportunity to develop with a leading player in a structured manner. 

Job Description:

• Prepare drawings based on Architects/Engineers drawings.
• Meet client expectations by ensuring prompt reply to queries.
• Ensure correct drawings are produced in accordance with the design.
• Ensure approval drawings are issued to meet client expectations and delivery dates.
• Ensure production drawings are issued in accordance with meeting client expectations.
• Accurate completion of drawings to ensure NCR’s are kept to a minimum.
• Manage multiple projects with a pro-active client focus.
• Maintenance of all information/records to ensure successful project completion.
• Occasional site visits to develop customer relationships.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant experience in a Detailing/Draughts person position
• Expertise in AutoCAD, and producing manufacturing drawings is essential
• Experience with SolidWorks is desirable
• Experience or knowledge of the construction industry
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience of reading technical/architectural drawings would be an advantage
• Good organisational skills
• Target driven & ambitious
• Excellent communication skills
