Technical Support Engineer                Co.Louth    

Our esteemed client in County Louth is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer with a background in the manufacturing/ engineering industry. This role is primality based in Co.Louth with  travel to customer sites.

This is a critical role which will involve a range of responsibilities including servicing, maintenance, breakdown support, applications development and delivery of technical training courses, webinars & workshops to the customer base. This role will involve working within Manufacturing, engineering, robotics and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support with product range in terms of mechanical, electrical and software systems
• Visit customer sites
• Develop applications in isolation and as part of a wider project
• Commission and test applications, in workshop and customer sites
• Deliver technical training programs according to organisational requirements
• Provide training sessions, webinars and workshops etc
• Support sales and proposals department

Qualifications and Skills:

• Technical Engineering Qualification
• 3-5 years’ experience in manufacturing/engineering environment
• Aptitude in Mechanical, electrical and software systems
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Excellent communication skills including comfortability with speaking to groups
• Full clean drivers’ licence
