Responsibilities of the Role:

• Responsible for the safe planning, coordination and safe operation of all plant required for the support of all Utilities, Engineering and Maintenance activities.
• Plan all utilities work, liaise with the suppliers and sourcing parts for daily work.
• Drive improvements in the performance of facilities and utilities.
• Ensure all manufacturing and engineering equipment is safely maintained and repaired when required to optimise efficiency.
• Support the team in the planned maintenance and utilities execution, defect fixing, recording and execution of improvements of issues of a mechanical and electrical nature, including facility, chillers, and HVAC systems.
• Day to day repair of faults identified through inspection or as reported.
• Preform maintenance and engineering works, renewals, and enhancement work. Including inspections, self-assurance checks and quality checks.
• Technically support and liaise with other engineers and develop all technical skills required within the role.
• Responsible for the complete overhaul and repair for any utility’s equipment.
• Constantly look for ways to improve utilities engineering processes.

Experience and Knowledge:

The individual should have 3-5 years’ experience working within a similar role, with knowledge of HVAC and facility systems. The candidate should also have recognisable qualifications within a relevant subject, having medical device or pharmaceutical experience would be beneficial.
