As the Warehouse Manager, you play a vital role in the supply chain process. Your responsibilities encompass leading people, managing processes, and overseeing systems to ensure efficient goods handling and meet productivity targets. Collaborating with other operational functions is essential to ensure seamless operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Set the direction for your team and manage their performance.
  • Warehouse Plan Execution: Create and implement the warehouse plan to achieve business operational objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster effective relationships across functions to deliver the operational plan.
  • KPI Accountability: Be responsible for function KPIs related to people safety, food safety, service, and cost.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Thinking: Solve problems and make informed decisions.
  • Planning and Organization: Manage time effectively.
  • Utilize IT tools and systems.

  • Stock Management: Oversee stock receipt, put-away, picking, issuing, and reporting, including any stock stored at third-party locations.
  • Efficiently manage onsite and offsite storage locations, optimizing capacity.
  • Actively contribute to the business operational and strategic plans.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proficient in English (interpersonal, listening, written, and oral).
  • Experience leading a warehouse function and motivating teams.
  • Translate business operational plans into actionable warehouse plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Organize and manage time effectively.
  • Understand the importance of health and safety practices.
  • Maintain basic physical fitness for a demanding role.
  • Be trustworthy and dependable.
  • Use word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation software, email, and the internet effectively.
