Job Title – Working Foreman - #1 on Site  

Project – Commercial Refurbishment Project

Job Location – Belfast

Salary – £40K - £50K with Travel   

About the Company

Working with a long standing medium sized company who specialise in delivering commercial refurbishments and new build residential projects across Tyrone, Fermanagh and Belfast. Projects range in value from £500K to £5M.

This project requires a strong Foreman/ Site Manager with a Joinery background to oversee a Commercial Refurbishment project in Belfast. The project will run for 6 months minimum however they have more upcoming work in Belfast.

Permanent role.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of new build developments and refurbishments.
• Be the number one on site for all activities and act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Report into and support the Company Directors and Contracts Managers.
• Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works.
• Plan and coordinate the daily requirements of the site including labour, procurement of materials, and meeting deadlines.
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years proven experience with a Main Contractor.
• Joinery Background is preferred.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
