Working Foreman – Belfast & Dublin

 

INFORM3 are looking to appoint a Working Foreman, for projects based in Belfast and Dublin. The client has over 15 years’ experience and has a great number of projects that requires a foreman who has experience in civils work especially utilities.

The Working Foreman must be able to supervise civil crews, be confident in using plant and able to meet deadlines and targets.

 

Working Foreman Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the Senior Management Team
  • Coordinate the site team and be the point of contact for any issues or barriers on site
  • Responsible for supervising and co-ordinating teams of direct labour and specialist sub-contractors and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines the contract.
  • To assist with providing information for completion of daily site diary, allocation sheets, time sheets, record of labour, progress report sheets, plant returns, material returns and local site purchase sheets.
  • Manage Plant, Machinery and Equipment, especially the delivery and removal on and off site
  • Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and health & safety briefings
  • Ensure the site is safe to work and the site team adheres to health & safety regulations
  • Ensure site works meet the quality regulations set by the company
  • Complete any other duties as and when required

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Working Foreman, Ganger or chargehand background
  • 2 years’ plus experience
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Relevant experience in multiple civil engineering activities
  • Experience in heavy plant operations – desirable, not essential.
  • Experience in Earthworks and muck shifting etc
  • Full Driving License
