Job Title – Working Foreman (Externals)   

Project – High Value Residential Project

Job Location – Dublin City Centre

Salary – €55K-€65K


About the Company

Working with a well-known Irish Property Developer on a high profile and high value residential development in Dublin City Centre (free parking). This developer is well known for providing high-density residential projects in Dublin City Centre, North Dublin and Louth.


The Role

  • Coordination and supervision of the external works on commercial projects.
  • Act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
  • Report into and support the Site manager, Project Manager and Company Director.  
  • Oversee manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors and consult with local authorities when needed.
  • Manage the procurement of materials as per site requirements.
  • Perform administration duties as required e.g., Update the site diary, receive and process deliveries, incident forms when required and site inductions.
  • Managing sub-contractors and personnel on site to ensure that productivity levels are high.
  • Liaise with trades carrying out external works such as; bricklayers, window fitters, façade installers, roofers etc.
  • Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.
  • Host tool box talks and meetings with direct staff to outline the works required.


  • A Degree in Construction Management or Trade Background (preferably bricklaying)
  • A minimum of 3 years proven experience in a similar role with a main contractor or developer as Foreman, Working Foreman, Groundworks Foreman, Externals Foreman or similar…
  • Residential experience is advantageous.
