Working Foreman - Co Down - Down

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Working Foreman  

Project – Commercial – £500K refurb

Job Location – Co. Down

Salary – £35K - £40K + travel  

About the Company

Working with a very busy contractor who have a long-standing reputation for delivering high standard projects across Antrim & Northern Ireland.  

Projects range in value up to £5M and vary between public works contracts and private residential developments.

Initially a Fixed Term Contract with opportunity to develop into a permanent role.

The Role

• Coordination and supervision of the construction of an extension/ refurbishment project.  
• Be the number one on site for all activities and act as a point of contact for direct staff, subcontractors, clients and design team.
• Oversee commercial projects and manage manpower on site including, direct staff and subcontractors.
• Manage different teams of subbys and ensure that productivity levels are high.
• Supervise works on site and ensure the quality of works
• Oversee Material Take off and Procurement of materials for site
• Ensure that company policies including H&S policies are adhered to on site.

Requirements

• A Degree in Construction Management or similar Trade Qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years proven experience with a Main Contractor in a supervisor or foreman position.
• Carpentry or Joinery background is desirable – may need to help out on tools when required.
• Ability to effectively manage site programme and associated schedules to required deadlines.
