Working Foreman - Commercial Refurbishment - Sligo

INFORM3 Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a Main Contractor for:

Job Title – Working Foreman

Project – Commercial Refurbishment

Job Location – Sligo

Salary – £35K - £40K + travel  

About the Company

Working with a reputable Top 40 Contractor who specialise in delivering commercial new builds and refurbishments of listed buildings to Northern Ireland and Neighbouring Counties.

They are also working on numerous public works contracts.

This role is for a Educational project that is running until summertime with future work lined up for Fermanagh/ Tyrone areas.

The Role

• Report to Site Manager.
• Liaise with, coordinate and manage various subcontractors on a daily basis.
• Attend site meetings and host meetings among trades teams.
• Manage multiple teams of trades to handover.  
• Finishing internal building to a high standard and in line with programme.
• Manage and drive labour force.
• Ensure H&S and Company Compliance policies are adhered to by all staff members.
• Plan works accordingly to tie in line with project programme.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with a Main Contractor.
• Trade Qualification / Construction Qualification. (Preferably Carpentry or Joinery)
• Strong sense of ownership over projects and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to ensure the successful delivery of projects while ensuring a high standard of work.
